Alice Cooper - Psycho Drama Tour
Thursday, October 2, 2008 – 8:00pm
TCU Place – Sid Buckwold Theatre

Alice Cooper - Psycho Drama Tour 2008

The Legend of Shock Rock returns to Canada with his biggest show in over 2 decades…playing all his hits; “Schools Out”, “I’m 18”, “Billion Dollar Babies”, “Welcome to My Nightmare”, “No More Mr. Nice Guy” & many more. The triumphs and tribulations heard on Alice Cooper's albums continue to thrill millions all over the world to this day. Indeed, no better example of Alice Cooper's timelessness can be found than in the fact that he still sings "I'm Eighteen" with all the passionate fervor and belief that he first brought to the song. For as long as there is a part of us that will always remain 18, we will all have far more in common with Alice Cooper than we might realize--or dare to publicly admit. After all, you're still here, and so is Alice. Rocking out like all get out. And ain't that what it's all about.

BILL COSBY

TCU Place – Sid Buckwold Theatre
2 SHOWS! 6pm and 9pm

For more than five decades Bill Cosby has graced us through virtually every entertainment outlet. This fall, Cosby will perform for Canadian audiences readily equipped with his signature story-telling antics that combine everyday faults, foibles and successes.

On the evolution of his own style of comedy, Cosby states that he was drawn at an early age to the icons of jazz: Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie and Betty Carter. Through their musical example, Cosby learned to emulate in comedy their ability to take an Cosby is one of the best-selling comedians. Nine of Cosby's albums have been certified Gold Records, six of which have been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He won Grammy Awards for “Best Comedy
Album” five times. His sales are unprecedented for any comedian and are unlikely to be challenged.

Cosby says, “I feel that in-person contact with people is the most important thing in comedy. While I’m up on stage I can actually put myself into the audience and adjust my pace and tuning to them. I can get into their heads through their ears and through their eyes. Only through this total communication can I really achieve what I’m trying to do.”
